WHAT TO EXPECT.
What will I be doing in Honduras?
It's impossible to squeeze more out of a single day.
The 1NATION1DAY staff packs your schedule with street evangelism, school assemblies, hospital ministry, crusade evangelism, dramas, retirement communities, orphanages, and sports ministry. Get ready to infiltrate every demographic and every corner of the city. Check out this video from a previous campaign in Honduras.

Who else is going?
You will be placed with other missionaries on a team that fits you. Your team will venture into your city every day in effort to see the people transformed by the name of Jesus.
What do I have to do to GO?
Changing the world couldn't be easier.
To be approved for 1N1D, you'll only need two things:
[1] Hard Work
[2] A Willing Heart
...We do the rest.
Simply fill out an application. We will provide you with fund-raising strategies and all steps you'll need to take to prepare yourself for this unforgettable adventure.
How am I going to pay for this?
Don't worry about the cash!
God never ceases to surprise and reward those who put forth effort partnered with a heart of faith. Plus, our staff will give you all the tools you'll need to raise every penny. Click here to download our Fundraising Guide and 100 Fundraising Ideas.
Where will I be staying?
It is the vision of 1N1D to always give our best to the people we're ministering to. To achieve that, our missionaries need to be well rested and well fed. The conditions will vary from state to state, but keep in mind that the farther your team travels from a major city, the less available "higher standard" accomodations become.
HOTEL: Every hotel we stay in is inspected by a staff member prior to the trip.
FOOD: All restaurants are tested and approved by a staff member. You will eat at widely-known American restaurants (i.e. McDonald's, Wendy's, Pizza Hut) whenever possible. You will also be given the opportunity to partake in the local cuisine.
Vaccinations Recommended for Honduras
*All of the recommendations are from the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
- Routine Vaccinations - It is recommended that all missionaries are up-to-date with routine shots, such as measles/mumps/rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria/pertussis/tetanus (DPT) Vaccine, Poliovirus vaccine.
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Typhoid
- Malaria (only some areas)
Which state will I be placed in?
The answer to this question is going to depend on which group you're going with. If you are coming with a specific church or group that is partnering with 1N1D, you'll be placed with your group in their assigned state. If not, you'll be placed with a group and team of similar age/background. 1N1D will be revealing state assignments Fall 2012.
How will I train?
1N1D has a few training options. Depending on your location, you will be able to train with your group or a nearby group on their set 1N1D Team Training Dates. Venture over to the TEAM PAGE to see what churches are participating near you. If you live near the 1NATION1DAY headquarters in Rochester, MI you can train with us every other Monday night from April 8th through July 8th, 2013.
